my name is Michalis. I was born and raised in cyprus, studied quantity surveying, and spent years managing complex projects — from private homes to 24-storey commercial buildings — overseeing security systems from design through to final handover.
what I saw, again and again, was a problem that nobody was solving. overseas property owners — cypriots living abroad, foreign investors, retirees building their dream homes — were handing over enormous sums of money with nobody genuinely looking out for them. contractors reported to themselves. problems were hidden. budgets crept. dreams eroded.
